Hillsdale, New York — Ed Herrington, Inc. a regional building supply company is pleased to announce that they have purchased the assets of Countrytown Marble & Tile of Hillsdale, NY and will operate business at the Countrytown Marble & Tile location at 5 East Hill Lane off Rt. 23 in Hillsdale NY. Ed Herrington, Inc. (DBA Herrington’s) has been a trusted supplier of building materials to Eastern NY and Western New England for over 110 years.
Owner and General Manager Richard B. Herrington stated “this purchase allows us to expand into the tile business adding a key element to our Kitchen & Bath design service and more great options to our flooring offerings.”
Judy Gardner, the former owner of Countrytown Marble & Tile, served the area since 1990 offering a variety of ceramic, porcelain, glass and marble tiles from around the globe including handmade tiles that grace many local homes today. Judy Gardner will be sharing her vast knowledge of tile by working with Herrington’s as a business consultant to the company during the transition.
Richard continued by saying, “Tile Specialists know we are a source for base products such as, Schluter Systems and tile installation accessories. Now they will be able to source the tile at Herrington’s as well.”
